Cookie Policy

The cookies we set, what they do, and how to disable them.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser so the site can remember information about your visit — what you've clicked, whether you're signed in, and whether you've seen a notice before. Most cookies are harmless. Some are essential for the site to function; others help us understand how visitors use Ready311 so we can improve it.

This policy explains the cookies set by www.ready311.com, including the marketing pages under /proposedsite/, and how you can control them.

Cookies we set directly

These are first-party cookies that Ready311 sets on its own domain.

CookiePurposeDuration
PHPSESSID Maintains your signed-in session when you log into the staff dashboard. Required for authentication. Browser session

Third-party cookies set on our behalf

When you load certain pages, services we rely on may set their own cookies in your browser. We don't read or control these cookies directly; the provider does.

What we don't use

To be specific: we don't set advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social-media tracking pixels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X), or marketing-automation cookies (HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Pardot, etc.) on the Ready311 marketing pages. We also don't sell or share cookie data with third parties for advertising purposes.

How to control or disable cookies

You have several options:

  • Browser settings — every major browser lets you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear existing cookies. See the help docs for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
  • Google Analytics opt-out — install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on to prevent your visits from being measured on any GA-instrumented site, including ours.
  • Do Not Track — if your browser sends a DNT signal, our analytics provider may honor it; the staff dashboard's session cookie is required for sign-in regardless of DNT.

Blocking the PHPSESSID session cookie will prevent staff from signing in to the dashboard. Blocking the Google Analytics cookies has no effect on site functionality.

Changes to this policy

If we add new cookies — for example, if we introduce a feature that needs additional tracking — we'll update this page and revise the "Last updated" date below. We won't add advertising or cross-site tracking cookies without giving you notice.
